One training opportunity is

Professional Course Certification for Ministry Assistants

Professional Course Certification is 20 hours (or three days) of training. The course is divided into six, three-hour modules:

God’s Call
Communication

My Character

Administration

Leadership

Ministry                      

Those who go through the training will have a better understanding of the ministry role in which God has called them; discover and apply professional methods to their work; use their creativity and initiative in introducing innovative procedures and technology; impact their church and ministry growth; and more.

An exam will be given at the end of the course.

Cost is $135 per person for all six modules.

Another training opportunity is

Ministry Office Skillshops for Ministry Assistants

Each skillshop is 10 hours of training that provides learning experiences through teaching/listening, individual and groups assignments, and hands-on activities.

Skillshops available are:

Ministering in Times of Crisis 

Records Management

Techniques such as:  Office Management, Time Management, Office Teamwork, and Understanding Myself and others.

Business Communication

Basic Business English
Church Financial Management 
Designing Professional Publications

Managing Office Stress
The Call to Follow Christ

Dealing With Difficult People and Confronting Conflict

Applying Spiritual Gifts in Ministry (This skillshop is 20 hours or 3 days.)
